A joint culture project from Helene Walterskirchen
and
AdmaCUM e.V.
Helene Walterskirchen and her daughter, Alexandra, started the non-profit project “Peace Banner” on the 1st of June, 2010. Listed on the banner are the names of those who have said “yes” to peace. Everyone can paint their peace artwork on the banner. The Peace Banner is an original document and Public artwork of peace for everyone in the world. The Goal: a Peace Banner that one day circles the world and is a visual symbol for peace.
The Peace Banner is an honorable guest at various national and international Peace Festivals. For example, at the German Church Convention in Dresden, the Peace Festival in Berlin, the Augsburger High Peace Festival, and the Aachener Peace Prize Awards. In the coming year, the Peace Banner will be at the Peace Festival for the UNO-World Peace Day in Jerusalem and at the Ecumenical Bodensee-Church Convention as a guest.
Support this cause through your entry and peace artwork, donations, or active participation!
Peace Culture Education Project
Starting August 1st 2011, the Project "Peace Banner" additionally offers a special Peace Culture Education Project for schools and youth organizations: "Kids for Peace." This peace lesson includes a symbolic act of peace of the class/group along with the peace banner in which a community "Peace Globe" will be created and will promote individual and communal peace conciousness.
