Adma Culture Center Schloss
Rudolfshausen
A joint project from Helene Walterskirchen
and AdmaCUM e.V.
Schloss Rudolfshausen (between Landsberg am Lech and Buchloe), built in 1580, was always a culture center of the community Holzhausen and its surrounding area. In the beginning, the worldly noble culture cared for the building. As it became the monastery in Steingaden, for a long time the religious culture cared for it. Because of a parish reform, the parish of Holzhausen was dissolved in 2009.
It is a desire of Helene Walterskirchen to futher lead the old tradition of the hause as culture center of the community and region as well as to combine both worldly and religious themes. A central theme here is peace and the advancement of a peaceful culture and peace art. Here Helene Walterskirchen has established two central areas:
1. The exhibition of the peoples artwork „Peace Banner“ (opened on 12/03/2011)
2.The „Academy for Peace Education and Peace Art“ (opening on 04/19/2012)
The new Peace Academy in Adma Culture Center Schloss Rudolfshausen offers all those interested a broad spectrum of educational courses in the area „Peace Culture Promotion and Education“ as well as „Conflict Prevention and Peaceful Conflict Solutions in the areas of private, career and business life“ in the form of lectures, seminars, workshops, courses, and training.
The new Peace Academy offers all artistic and creative people a broad spectrum of educational courses which combine their artistic capabilities with the principle of peace. The areas offered include literature, art, music, performing arts, photography and other modern art forms. The first PEACE DAYS take place from the 20th until the 22nd of April 2012.
